How this service works
When can you install polymeric sand after cleaning?
Joints have to be clean and dry. On Long Island that often means waiting after a wash so overnight humidity is not sitting in the gaps. We will not sand a wet field just to finish the same day.
Does polymeric sand stop weeds and ants?
It hardens the joint so weeds and ants have a much harder time getting established, and it resists washout better than plain sand. It is not a permanent force field—irrigation and freeze-thaw still matter.
What if some pavers are uneven?
Sand will not hide a trip hazard. We flag rocking or settled stones before we sweep so you can choose a repair instead of locking a dip in place.
